Available now: certificates of completion

The free White Belt and 5S courses offer a BBG University certificate of completion. Complete the required lessons and self-check for the course, following the completion instructions in your learner account.

A completion certificate records that you completed that course. It can help you describe your learning to an employer or keep a personal training record. It does not by itself establish independent assessment of professional competence, award a regulated qualification or authorize workplace duties.

The practical task matters too. Keep your work: a problem note, an observation, an improvement trial or a usable instruction. It helps you explain what you can apply instead of relying on the name printed on a certificate.

Three different terms

Certificate of completion
A record of completing a particular learning activity. Check its stated requirements and issuer.
Professional certification
A credential awarded under a defined assessment process for knowledge or competence. Its meaning depends on the issuing body, scope, assessment and recognition. Finishing a course does not automatically confer a separate professional certification.
Accreditation
Independent evaluation of an institution, program or certification body against specified standards. It is separate from an instructor’s personal credentials and from a learner’s course certificate.

Current free courses award BBG University completion certificates. No external accreditation is claimed for these courses.

Yellow Belt and Green Belt: coming soon

These programs are in development and enrollment is not open. Their final assessment requirements, issuing arrangements and any external recognition will be stated before launch. Current free courses do not award those credentials.

If an employer or another provider requires a particular credential, ask them what they accept before enrolling for that purpose. A familiar course name alone does not establish equivalence.
