Leadership: Developing People

Start here

A supervisor gives the same explanation three times, fixes the task again and calls the team dependent. That dependency may have been built into the way the work is led. People cannot carry a standard they have never clearly understood or learned to meet.

This course is about leading by developing people: clear expectations, real support, practice that counts, fair correction and follow-through. You will learn to tell three things apart: a broken system, a skill nobody taught, and a known standard someone skipped. You do not need a management title. If you have no team right now, use the made-up examples.

Read the four lessons, think through the reflection and take the self-check. You do not need to change anything at work or share anything personal. Finishing the course gives you a certificate of completion, not authority you do not already have. Anything you try at work stays inside your role and your workplace’s rules.
