Change Management: Make the New Way Work
BBG University free introductory course
The new booking system is live. The announcement went out. Staff still call the one person who remembers how the old system worked. The software changed. The work has not settled into a usable new way.
Change management is helping people get from the old way to the new way, so the change actually works on the floor. It ties what the change is for to what each person has to do differently, and makes sure they have the support, the clear expectations and the setup to do it.
This course covers what change management is, why it matters, what it gets mistaken for, and how a good idea dies when nobody looks at the people and the system. It is a short introduction, not a full playbook. The examples are made up. You do not need to change anything at work, install anything or share anything personal.
Read four short lessons, think through the reflection and check your answers. Finishing gives you a certificate of completion, not authority to change a process you do not own. Any real change at work goes through your workplace’s approvals and safety rules.
