Value from the customer’s point of view, the eight wastes (DOWNTIME), and why removing waste often costs very little.
W3. A First Look at DMAIC (about 40 minutes)
The five DMAIC phases and the question each one answers, why teams do not jump straight to a fix, and DMADV in one sentence.
W4. Where It Came From, Roles and Belts (about 40 minutes)
Milestones from Shewhart and Deming to Toyota and Motorola, who does what on an improvement team, and the belt levels.
W5. How to Keep Going: Your Path to Yellow Belt (about 20 minutes)
Three things to try this week, what Yellow Belt adds, and whether it is the right next step for you.
Self-check (about 30 minutes)
Ten questions to check what you learned. You see the correct answers after each try, and you can retake it as many times as you like.
What you get
Finish all five modules and the self-check to receive a free Certificate of Completion, BBG University, with the course name and Marc’s signature. It is a certificate of completion, not a certification.
