Keep the Scoreboard Where People Can See It
Make the work visible. Give the team a clear way to see progress while there is still time to act.

People need proof. Not charts and graphs. Just signs that the effort is working.
Hi everyone,
This week's operations brief is about keeping score where the crew can see it.
Most teams have a goal. Fewer have a way to tell, in the middle of the day, whether they are getting there. The goal lives in a meeting or a report, and the people doing the work find out how it went after it is too late to change anything.
Change does not stick if no one sees the impact. Find a simple way to measure progress and make it visible. We want to cut team handoffs by half this month. Track it daily or weekly. Use a board, chart, or even a verbal check-in.
Then say it out loud. We knocked out eight clean tasks today. That's movement. People need proof. Not charts and graphs, just signs that the effort is working.
Make room for the good news too. Create a board, wall, or tracker that celebrates real progress. Ten clean tasks today. No handoffs dropped this week. A board like that does two jobs. It keeps the standard in front of everyone, and it shows people their effort counted.
Keep it simple. One number the crew understands beats ten numbers nobody reads.
